How Does Fall Recruitment Work?

At the beginning of the Fall semester, each of the three NPC Sororities

holds an Informational Night, which is open for all interested women on campus to attend! This event is intended to provide Potential New Members and Rushes with information on our organization, as well as our philanthropy work, our values, and our aims as a sisterhood.

Most importantly, it is a wonderful opportunity to meet all of the sisters of our chapter, and allow us to get to know you!

Throughout the Recruitment process, all women will be invited to sign up for a Continuous Open Bidding Interview! COB, as it is commonly referred to, will take place over the course of two days, following Recruitment Informationals. If you are interested in joining

Theta Phi Alpha, you must attend a COB Interview!

Once you have completed COB, our sisters will convene and decide whether we would like to extend a bid, or essentially an offer to join our organization! If we choose to offer you a bid, you will be contacted with the news as soon as this decision is made, along with an invitation to

join us on our Bid Day Celebration!

What Should I Expect at COB?

Continuous Open Bidding is the basis for the NPC Recruitment process during the Fall Semesters! When you come in for Continuous Open Bidding, it will simply be a brief and easy interview, conducted in a professional manner! Our active sisters will all be in attendance, and

you will be asked simple questions so that we can get to know you a little bit better!

Essentially COB Interviews are the basis for deciding if you will be a good fit for our chapter! The interview will take no more than 10 minutes, and it is not meant to be intimidating in any way, shape or form!

If you are unsure about how the COB process will work, or what you should wear, please don't hesitate to reach out to any of our sisters!
